Why Coorg Coffee

Shade-Grown

Our beans grow under a natural canopy of silver oak and pepper vines at 900–1,200m elevation, developing complex flavors slowly.

Monsoon Climate

The Western Ghats bring predictable monsoon rains and cool nights, creating the ideal microclimate for Arabica and Robusta.

Hand-Sorted

Every lot is hand-sorted and gravity-separated, ensuring only the densest, most uniform beans make it into each grade.

Export-Ready

Packed in GrainPro-lined jute bags for freshness. Phytosanitary certificates and quality reports included with every shipment.

From Cherry to Export

01

Selective Harvest

Only ripe cherries are picked by hand during peak season (November–February), ensuring optimal sugar content and flavor development.

02

Wet Processing

Cherries are de-pulped within 12 hours, fermented in clean water tanks, and washed to remove mucilage for a clean cup profile.

03

Sun Drying

Parchment coffee is spread on raised beds and dried in the Coorg sun for 10–15 days, turned regularly for even moisture reduction.

04

Hulling & Grading

Dried parchment is hulled, polished, and graded by screen size, density, and color. Each lot is cupped and scored before export approval.

05

Packing & Shipping

Approved lots are packed in GrainPro-lined 60kg jute bags and shipped from Mangalore or Kochi port to your destination worldwide.
